The Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students who want to pursue career training programs in Michigan. This scholarship provides financial support for eligible students, covering up to $2,000 per year for up to two years, to attend an eligible Career Training program in the state. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Residency: Must have been a Michigan resident for at least the immediately preceding year.

Education:
- Graduated from high school in Michigan with a diploma or certificate of completion OR
- Achieved a high school equivalency certificate in 2023 or later.

Degree Status:
- Must not have earned an associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Must not have previously earned a degree, certificate, or credential using this scholarship.
- No Age Requirement: Adult students who earn a high school equivalency certificate in 2023 or later are also eligible.
Important Notes
- Students cannot receive the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship in the same academic year they receive the Michigan Achievement Scholarship for the Community College Guarantee.
- The scholarship is available to students pursuing eligible Career Training Programs in Michigan.
